DEL NORTE – Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother. Eileen was born Feb. 15, 1944, in Cortez, Colo. She passed away peacefully on Dec. 6, 2024, in her own bed. She has lived in Del Norte, Colo., for 49 years.
Eileen has two brothers and two sisters. Eileen had seven children. Eileen had many hobbies including crafts, crossword puzzles, growing a garden, and she loved seeing deer in her yard. In her younger years, she liked to explore new places.
Eileen was preceded in death by her brothers Lawrence and Gerald Perkins as well as her sister Gloria Eli, her parents Earl and Emiliana Perkins, two of her sons Roy and Richard Carpenter and one grandson Raymond Victor David.
Eileen is survived by her children Edgar Carpenter Jr., Veronica (James) Dominguez, Lewis and his wife, Kathy (Mark) David, Emiliana (Clint) Carpenter, as well as eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Eileen will be held on Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the Del Norte Cemetery, 1704 County Road 13, Del Norte, CO 81132.
