MONTE VISTA– The Kiwanis Club of Monte Vista is pleased to announce that the winner of the 2020 Crane Quilt is Rob Glover from Alamosa.
This year’s quilt was designed, sewn, and machine quilted by Raydene Plane, formerly a resident of Monte Vista, who now lives in Pueblo.
The Kiwanis Club takes this opportunity to thank Raydene for her quilting talents and all of the people in the San Luis Valley and out of town visitors who supported the Crane Quilt raffle during the Crane Festival. Proceeds from the raffle will go towards college scholarships for qualified Monte Vista High School Key Club seniors and for youth and community activities in the Monte Vista area.
A Key Club Scholarship for $1000 was awarded to Alyssa Rawinski, Monte Vista High School Key Club Member in May, 2019.
