Coreen Bussemey, 87, passed away on April 24, 2023. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and mother in her eventful lifetime.

She joined the U.S. Air Force at the age of 18 where she met her husband Raymond Henry Bussemey II. They had a son, Raymond Henry III, while serving in the military.

She was an outgoing and social friend that never knew a stranger. She was always warm and welcoming to whoever was blessed to have crossed her path. Her generosity and entrepreneurship were conveyed during the early years when she was joint owner of the Rainbow Nightclub in Antonito, Colo. Her love for life was apparent and was demonstrated during her career as an educator.  She loved flowers and gardening in her home in South Carolina.

She is survived by her sisters Linda Morin and Joann Holland. She is also survived by her six nieces and nephews and multiple grand nieces and nephews.

Coreen was preceded in death by her husband, son, father, mother, sister, and two nephews.

A special thank you to the staff of the Rio Grande Inn nursing facility for taking care of her for the past decade, we feel grateful for this merciful blessing.

Her dazzling smile and warm hugs will be missed by all. She will be laid to rest with her husband and son in South Carolina. We love and will miss you dearly our beloved aunt and sister. Until we meet again, rest in peace in the loving arms of the Lord and your family.

Cremation was selected and a private family memorial service will be held at a later time.
