Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized support to a student with specific educational, behavioral, or physical needs. Assist the student with completing assignments, following instructions, and participating in classroom activities. Monitor and document the student's progress and communicate effectively with the teacher, parents, and other educational staff. Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) or other specialized plans as directed by the teacher or school staff. Help the student with mobility, self-care, or other daily routines as necessary. Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for the student.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (required), additional education or training in special education, child development, or a related field preferred. Experience working with children with special needs or in a school setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Patience, compassion, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Must pass a background check and any other required screenings. TOWN of DEL NORTE FINANCE OFFICER/TOWN TREASURER. The Town of Del Norte is accepting applications or resumes for finance officer/town treasurer. The finance officer is also responsible for maintaining the accounting records as well as the Town’s accounting system. The Town currently operates Caselle as its accounting system with modules for accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipting, court management, general ledger, and utility management. The finance officer is also responsible for the preparation and submission of the annual budget upon approval from the Town Board. It is the responsibility of the finance officer to implement best practices and ensure the Town is following local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Also, overseeing the Utility billing and is responsible for timely and accurate billing and collection of water and wastewater revenues, as well as providing courteous and efficient customer service. This position is also responsible for any miscellaneous billings and collections that occur within the Town through accounts receivable module. Along with utility billing and accounts receivable, this position is also responsible for all accounts payable within the Town of Del Norte. Position is appointed by Town Board of Trustees responsible for overseeing all aspects budgeting, financial planning, accounting, reporting, and with the primary goal of ensuring the Town’s long-term financial health, with analysts to produce accurate financial information for decision-making. This position also takes on many hats as human resources officer and risk management of Town’s asset coverages. Applicant must have knowledge of municipal accounting and grant financing and administration. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or public administration from an accredited college or university, five (5) years of direct, progressive, responsible financial management experience three (3) of which must be in municipal accounting and include three (3) years of supervisory experience.
