ALAMOSA – The Class 1A Southern Peaks League announced its All-League baseball team in May.
Sierra Grande leads the All-League team with seven selections. The Panthers are led by Most Valuable Player senior Brian Ontiveros. They have four additional first team selection in junior Kobe Mizokami, junior Patrick Sanchez, junior Adrian Casados and sophomore Rolando Najera.
Two more players, senior Derek Martinez and sophomore Jadyn Martinez are honorable mention.
Sierra Grande’s Brandon Mizokami was named the Coach of the Year.
The Panthers had a record of 13 wins and three losses and advanced to regional tournament action.
Antonito has four selections. Senior Darius Gomez, sophomore Rylan Trant and freshman Dylan Gray are all first team, and freshman Lucas Cordova is honorable mention.
The Trojans had a record of 7-9-1.
Centennial has three selections. Senior Samuel Aguilera and senior Manny Benton were placed on the first team, and junior Amado Montoya is honorable mention.
The Rams’ final record was 2-10.
