The city proclaimed May 20 Kids to Park Day and encouraged youth and their families to take advantage of the national, state and municipal parks on that day and every day. The city joins a national effort to get children outdoors and introduce a new generation to parks. Councilman Vigil presented the proclamation to Bergann during the May 3rd city council meeting.
