Early Thanksgiving week CHSAA announced their All-State Volleyball teams. Del Norte's Lacie Jones was selected to 2A's second team. Jones had a productive season leading the Tigers with 231 kills at 44.3 percent efficiency both stats among the highest in the state.

ALAMOSA — Early Thanksgiving week CHSAA announced their All-State Volleyball teams. Del Norte's Lacie Jones was selected to 2A's second team. Jones had a productive season leading the Tigers with 231 kills at 44.3 percent efficiency both stats among the highest in the state.
Lacie also led Del Norte in categories such as blocks and aces, with 68 and 56 respectively. Her and the Tigers went 15-8 en route to qualifying for regionals where they faced Swink and Fowler.
As a junior she still has another year of eligibility and will likely lend her services to the volleyball team again next year.
The Volleyball All-State honors also included honorable mentions to Lexi Ortega, Senior, Alamosa and Harlee Pepper, Senior, Sargent.
The Valley usually has a strong presence at most cross country events and also received recognition for the effort they put forth at the Cross Country State Championship. Emilee Haefeli, Senior, Del Norte and Ethan Reschke, Senior, Sargent getting honorable mentions for 2A Cross Country. While Lilly Lavier, Sophomore, Alamosa and Elijah DeLaCerda, Junior, Alamosa recieved honorable mention in 3A Cross Country.
