One of the more popular booths with grades K-5 at Alamosa Elementary School’s careers day on Friday was ValleyWide Health Systems program on dental health and hygiene. A class of first graders is shown hearing about good sweets and bad sweets from dental hygienist Justin Beagley and dental assistant Amanda Garcia. Students gathered a variety of free stuff varying from tooth brushes to potatoes ready for baking.
