Monte Vista resident Beulah (Boots) Ann Rogers, 88, passed away on December 7, 2022. She was born on March 13, 1934, in Denver, Colorado. She was raised by Otto and Hattie May (Cole) Terry.
Beulah grew up in St. Francis, KS and after college, attended Barnes Business School. She married her high school sweetheart, Troy Richard Rogers on February 17, 1957. Throughout her life, she enjoyed cooking, attending painting class, cherished time with her family, and devoted her life to Christ. She enjoyed attending the Feed Store Family Training Center every Sunday.
Beulah is survived by her husband Troy Rogers of Monte Vista, her children, Susan (Keith) Rogers of Monte Vista, Richard Rogers of Monte Vista and Kathy (Dave) Braun of Anthem, Arizona, her grandchildren, Erin Hatton, Steven McCullough, Cami McCullough, Brandon Rogers, Jason McCullough, Josh Braun, Bailey Rogers, Justin Braun and, her great-grandchildren, Olivia McCullough, Corbyn Wright and Cadyn Wright as well as her sister Wilma Lampe and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Cecil Terry and Johnny Terry.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Monte Vista. Interment will follow services in the San Luis Valley Cemetery.
