San Luis Valley Brewing Company prepares to open for the annual Beat the Heat BBQ and Brewfest Friday at Cole Park. Today, the event continues at 10 a.m. with free yard games and the Craft Beer Garden. At 11 a.m., People’s Choice Sampling begins continuing until 3 p.m., or until the barbecue is gone.
