ALAMOSA – The Alamosa Veterans Memorial Park Project will host a car show on Saturday at the Alamosa Family Recreation Center, 2222 Old Sanford Rd.

Registration is from 8-9 a.m., and the show runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The events will include valve cover racing, a swap meet (car and motorcycle), trophy awards and a Veterans appreciation ceremony.

Door prizes begin at 10 a.m. and will conclude with prizes at 1 p.m.

There will be food trucks, Gosar Sausage and Ef’s, a beer garden provided by Spare Keg, vendors and t-shirts for sale. There will also be music by DJ Gabe.

There will also be a potato bar on Friday at the National Guard Armory, 1877 Old Sanford Rd.

Tickets will be sold beginning at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served beginning at 6 p.m. There will also be karaoke.
