ALAMOSA — In the past month, the Alamosa Police Department has written the following citations.

Four people were cited for speeding 5-9 mph over the limit, 20 people were cited for speeding 10-19 mph over the limit, two people were cited for speeding 20-39 mph over the limit and one person was cited for driving more than 40 mph over.

Five people were cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and six were cited for failure to obey a traffic device.

Five people were cited for driving under restraint.

Five people were cited for careless driving and one person was cited for reckless driving.

Eight citations were written for expired plates, three for required seatbelts, five for driving uninsured, and two for making a turn out of the wrong lane plus two for failure to yield right-of-way.

Lucinda Lucero, 30, of Alamosa was cited for 1st degree aggravated motor vehicle theft.

Frederico DeHerrera, 36, of Alamosa was cited for unlawful distribution Sch ll x4, special offender, possession of weapon by previous offender.

Leobardo Ortega-Anaya, 28, of Alamosa was cited for unlawful possession of controlled substance, theft under $300.

Nicole Chavez, 43, of Alamosa was cited for dog running at large, control care of treatment of animals and quantity of animals.

Steven Wick, 34, of Alamosa was cited for theft under $300, theft from building $300-$999.

Alfred Fresquez, 30, of Alamosa was cited for assault.

Bridget Brown of Alamosa was cited for trespassing.

John Hernandez, 29, of Alamosa was cited for dog running at large second offense.

Christopher Martinez, 32, of Alamosa was cited for burning in city limits.

Chelsea Squires, 31, of Alamosa was cited for trespassing.

Albert Martinez, 47, of Alamosa was cited for domestic violence, 3rd degree assault, child abuse, obstructing telephone.

Darryl Garcia, 60, of San Luis was cited for careless driving causing bodily injury.

Randy Shelley, 38, of Salmon, Idaho was cited for DUI-alcohol and driving under

restraint.

Leobardo Ortega, 28, of Alamosa was cited for theft under $300.

Josiah Medina, 22, of Alamosa was cited for theft $300-$999

Lena Velasquez, 78, of Antonito was cited for careless driving causing bodily injury.

Nicholas Noland, 37, of Colorado Springs was cited for theft $300-$999.

Jesse Fuentes, 29, of Hutchinson, Minnesota was cited for unlawful sexual contact and domestic violence.

Lee Wilcox, 31, of Alamosa was cited for possession of a weapon by previous offender, violation of restraining order and unlawful possession of controlled substance.

Michael Mobley, 27, of Alamosa was cited for resisting an officer, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Jonathan Alejandro Rangel, 23, of Alamosa was cited for 2nd degree assault and domestic violence.

Adrianne Nobriga, 19, of Alamosa was cited for violation of a restraining order.

Deidre Nyquist-Mascarenas, 25, of Monte Vista was cited for unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Patrick H. Garcia, 53, of Alamosa was cited for harassment.

Alycia Chacon, 29, of Del Norte Child was cited for abuse, prohibited use of a weapon and disorderly conduct.

Patricia Doyle, 47, of South Fork was cited for 2nd degree burglary and theft under $300.

Jose Domingo Esteban, 22, of Alamosa was cited for failure to notify police of accident.

David Schoffstall, 34, of Pennsylvania was cited for trespassing.

Patrick Trujillo, 31, of Alamosa was cited for trespassing.

Andres Rosendo, 30, of Alamosa was cited for trespassing.

Arron Fulcher, 18, of Alamosa was cited for trespassing.

Phanesha Pinto, 29, Cube, New Mexico was cited for trespassing.

Linda Quintana, 51, of Alamosa was cited for contempt of court, dog at large 2nd offense.

Nakia Pettis, 22, of Alamosa was cited for careless driving causing bodily injury, DUI-drugs, driving under restraint, uninsured vehicle.

Kelvin Jack, 36, of Manassa was cited for resisting an officer.

Carlitos Juvera-Rael, 28, of Alamosa was cited for domestic violence, criminal mischief, second degree burglary, child abuse and third-degree assault x3.

Jeremy Schultz, 39, of Salida was cited for aggravated motor vehicle theft, vehicular eluding, reckless endangerment, obstructing, resisting, possession of an illegal weapon, false reporting, reckless driving, registration violation, uninsured vehicle, and striking unattended property.

Michael Suazo, 34, of Alamosa was cited for unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Eliana Sanchez, 23, of Monte Vista was cited for harassment.
