Youth and adults tie their dreams and wishes to a wishtree during the January 15th dedication of the tree in Carroll Park in Alamosa. Amy Browning’s fifth grade class at Alamosa Elementary was inspired by “Wishtree” by Katherine Applegate, so they decided to create their own wishtree, a place where community members can place wishes, hopes and dreams for years to come.
