ALAMOSA – The Intermountain League released its All-League girls soccer team in May with six members of the Alamosa High School team being recognized.
Four of the six Al-League selections were named to the first team. Emmy Tibbitts, Jayden Wubben, Araceli Molina and Lexany Heredia all received those honors.
Tibbitts was also named the League’s Goalkeeper of the Year. She recorded 192 saves for an average of 12 per game, and she allowed 23 goals.
She occasionally played offense and she scored four goals.
Wubben was the Lady Mean Moose’s leading scorer with 10 goals and nine assists for 29 points. She also had 12 steals.
Molina scored five goals and had three assists for 13 points. She also had 25 steals.
Heredia recorded four goals and seven assists for 15 points. She also had 10 steals.
The remaining two All-League selections were honorable mention in Noemi Lemus and Reese Canaan.
Lemus scored two goals and had one assist for five points. She led the team in ste4als with 30.
Canaan had 17 steals on the season.
Alamosa’s Kelly Wubben was named the League’s Coach of the Year.
Bayfield’s Sydney Rey was the Player of the Year.
Alamosa won eight games, lost six and tied two in 2024. The Lady Mean Moose won the league title with a 4-1-1 record.
All of Alamosa’s All-League players will return next season.
