SAN LUIS VALLEY — In early election night returns Alamosa County Commissioner — District 1 race incumbent Lori Laske (R) led challenger Richard Needham (D) by 60.67% (2,846) to 39.33% (1,845 votes). Alamosa Commissioner Vern Heersink ran unopposed. Voter turnout for the county was 47.23 % with 4,875 votes cast.

SAN LUIS VALLEY — In early election night returns Alamosa County Commissioner — District 1 race incumbent Lori Laske (R) led challenger Richard Needham (D) by 60.67% (2,846) to 39.33% (1,845 votes). Alamosa Commissioner Vern Heersink ran unopposed. Voter turnout for the county was 47.23 % with 4,875 votes cast. 

“I am grateful to the citizens of Alamosa County for the honor to serve them for another term. Thank you,” Laske said. 

The Rio Grande County Commissioner races were won by incumbents Scott Deacon (District 1) and Gene Glover (District 3), both were uncontested according to election night results posted on the Colorado Secretary of State website.

In Saguache County Commissioner District 1, incumbent Tom McCracken (D) led challenger Marcus Weir (R) by 54.81% (1,555 votes) to 45.19% (1,282.) In the Saguache County Commissioner District 2 race, incumbent Lynn Thompson (D) had 54.40% (1,477 votes) to challenger Jason Ensz (R) with 45.60% (1,238 votes). Voter turnout was 64.37% with 2,975 votes cast. 

In Mineral County Republican incumbent Ramona Weber had a sizable lead in the Mineral County Commissioner District 3 race with 75.38 percent (493 votes) over unaffiliated challenger Jason Trujillo with 24.62 percent (161). In the District 2 commissioner's race, newcomer Republican Marvin Kirby Ward was unopposed. Voter turnout for the county was at 88.02 percent with 764 ballots cast. 

In Costilla County Commissioner — District 1, Robert Espinoza had 61.96% (834 votes) to challenger Brandy Napier 38.04%. In the Costilla County Commissioner— District 3 race, Steven Romero had 60.18% (786 votes), and Augustine Roy Esquibel had 39.82% (520 votes). Voter turnout was 47.39% with 1,400 votes cast. 

In the Conejos County Commissioner — District 1 race Delfino Garcia (R) had 52.24% (1,950 votes) Erwin Romero (D) 37.32%, (1,393 votes) and write in candidate Sharleen Farmer had 10.45% (390) votes. In the Conejos County Commissioner — District 3 race In Conejos County Commissioner — District 3, Joseph Baroz (D) had 55.32% (2,029 votes) Justin Rogers (R) had 44.68% (1,639 votes). Voter turnout was 71.91% with 3,851 ballots cast.
