ALAMOSA — The Adams State University Chamber Choir first full performance of the season begins at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, in Richardson Hall Auditorium.
The concert, “A Vision Unfolding: Building Hope through Connections”, is part of the Music Department’s ETHOS: Exploring Equity through Music initiative. It will feature the music of Kyle Pederson, including his larger work, “A Vision Unfolding”, which invites us to stand with those whose voices are too often dismissed and be reminded of the compelling vision of our nation rooted in equality, justice, and inclusion – our best moments.
Anna Hawkins, D.M.A., piano; Brooke Miller, D.M.A., clarinet; Melinda Leoce, D.M.A., percussion; and James Lind, D.M.A., trumpet, will join the Chamber Choir. This concert will also be presented at the Colorado Music Educators Association conference in January at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.
Admission is free for AS&F and Friends of Music. Please be prepared to pay cash: $5 for adults, and $1 for K-12 students and seniors.
