ALAMOSA — Three people have been detained and are facing felony charges for their alleged connection with a shooting that took place in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 14. An unidentified 18-year-old male suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the incident.

Donovan Gonzales, 18, of Alamosa, is being detained and will be charged with criminal attempt to commit murder in the first degree with deliberation, a second-degree felony. Levi Turningrobe, 22, of Alamosa, is being detained and will be charged with accessory to a crime, a fourth-degree felony. A juvenile, whose identity will not be released due to his age, is facing the same charges as Gonzales.

Gonzales and Turningrobe are both being detained in the Alamosa County Detention Center on a $1 million bond or $100,000 cash and are scheduled to appear in court for return filing of charges on June 24. The juvenile is being held in a youth detention center.

On June 14, at approximately 3 a.m., the Alamosa Police Department was notified of a shooting in the 900 block of Hunt Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found an 18-year-old male who had been shot multiple times. The victim was transported to the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center Hospital for treatment where he was listed as in serious condition.

The three individuals allegedly involved in the shooting had fled the scene, leading to the Alamosa Police Department issuing a press release asking for the public to keep an eye out for their vehicle.
