ALAMOSA — A one-day women’s retreat featuring a simulcast of popular women’s bible study teacher Priscilla Shirer will be held on Saturday, May 5, from 1-9 p.m. at the Alamosa Seventh-day Adventist Church, 315 Craft Drive, Alamosa.

The theme is Priscilla and PJ’s, with a pajama party at 6:30 p.m. May 5th, is of course Cinco De Mayo, so the event will feature a “Taco Bar” for dinner. After that participants can change into their PJ’s. Prizes will be given to those who participate.

Ticket prices are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. Purchase tickets from two different locations: Emma’s Restaurant on Main Street, just east of Main Copy Source and diagonal to Trinidad State Junior College in Alamosa; or Simply Elegant Salon in the Big R shopping center, Suite 12.

Priscilla Shirer is an American author, motivational speaker, actress and Christian evangelist. Her father is Dallas mega-church pastor Tony Evans and her brother is Christian entertainer Anthony Evans. Priscilla speaks around the world at churches and other events, including the LifeWay Christian Resources.
