‘Whatever Works’ opens

ALAMOSA — There’s a new store in town, “Whatever Works” as in “Art n Stuff.” Check it out on May 27th for its opening, which will extend from Memorial Day weekend thru the ArtWalk on June 3rd.   The new store offers summer yard art, repurposed decor, fun furniture, colorful glass solar lights, mosaic cinder block planter/plant stands, concrete succulent planters, whimsical remakes, barnwood birdhouses and more. Look for the colorful yellow and red sign at 1603 S State Street (heading south toward the airport).

“Whatever Works” will feature SLV artists that tend toward the repurposed vibe in their creations...with fun and new and some of the traditional too.

Look for the sign and a yard full of fun summer “art n stuff” just across from Airport Liquor on State Avenue in Alamosa, and plan to stop by during the two weekend openings — on Saturday, May 27 and Art Walk reception with refreshments on Saturday, June 3.

Meet some of the artists (and possible? entertainers.)
