San Luis Valley Trading Post, a retail store for SLV Hemp Company, was welcomed to the Del Norte business community with a ribbon cutting Monday morning as a kickoff for Hemp History Week. SLV Trading Post offers a variety of hemp and CBD products, all non-THC, including hemp seed, powder, tinctures, oil, ointments, soap, NRG bites made by Mystic Biscuit, Del Norte, and more. The location on main street also serves as the processing plant for food products, emphasizing the company’s theme of “Farm to Health.” According to Jeff Owsley, it may be the only operation in the country taking product from the field all the way to the consumer.
