Weekend of Walks set

ALAMOSA — Jonathon Stalls, the founder of the community walking movement Walk2Connect, will be in Alamosa on Mother’s Day weekend (May 12th-14th) for a weekend full of walks sponsored by the Rio Grande Farm Park. Community members will lead several themed walks such as bird watching, dog walking, runner training, mom and child walk, and more!

Everyone is welcome to attend these relaxing and fun walks.

Walk2Connect is an innovative cooperative working to create whole-health walking programs focused on connection. There are thousands of individuals and a growing variety of organizational/governmental partners.

One of these partners, Caminos del Valle, is a community walking group located in Alamosa that meets at the Rio Grande Farm Park every Monday at 1 p.m.
