Last Saturday, the Rio Grande Farm Park, Valley Wide Health Systems, and the new Social Ops group put on an Earth Day Workday to plant 285 trees and shrubs at the Rio Grande Farm Park. Over 50 people helped plant the tree seedlings, cleaned up trash along the river and around the park, and enjoyed activities provided by Adams State University. Those who are interested in similar opportunities may join the Rio Grande Farm Park the last Saturday of each month for workdays and follow “Social Ops” on Facebook. Courtesy photo
