VALLEY—Multiple arrests have been made involving the alleged sexual assault of an 8-year-old South Fork girl dating back to late 2015.

In November 2016, the CBI was requested by South Fork Police Chief Don McDonald to assist with a complex sexual assault investigation. Following an extensive investigation by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the South Fork Police Department, three arrests have been made involving incidents of sexual assault against a child.

Those arrested include:
Mario Dominguez (top), 26, of Del Norte, being held on $175,000 bond at the Rio Grande County Jail.
Cristal Middleton, 21, of Alamosa, being held on $100,000 bond at the Rio Grande County Jail
Victor White, 56, of Del Norte being held on $150,000 bond at the Rio Grande County Jail.

All of the suspects face multiple charges related to the on-going sexual assault of the victim.

Investigators are not releasing details about the connection between the child and the suspects in an effort to protect the identity of the victim. The crimes took place at an apartment complex in South Fork.

In an effort to determine if there are additional victims, anyone with information about this case or the suspects should call the CBI Pueblo Regional Office at 719-647-5999 or the South Fork Police Department at 719-873-1040.

The CBI and South Fork Police Department are working in conjunction with a number of agencies including the 12th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Alamosa Police Department and the Monte Vista Police Department regarding this investigation.
