ALAMOSA — The following is a message sent today from the Alamosa High School:

Parents, students and staff, please be aware Alamosa High School Administration received a report indicating a possible act of violence would be taking place at Alamosa High School.

Please note via a school and law enforcement investigation, the allegation was deemed to be a rumor with no students or staff being in danger.

The district appreciates the students who brought the matter to the attention of school officials.

School safety continues to be our district’s top priority.
