Thomas “Tom” Paul Manzanares

Thomas “Tom” Paul Manzanares 61, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2022, at 3:08 p.m., at the SLV Hospital in Alamosa, Colorado. He was born July 17, 1960, to Joe and Matilda Archuleta Manzanares in Lander, Wyoming. He was the third to the last of eight children, (three boys and five girls). Tom attended Alamosa High School and Trinidad State Junior College, he received his Degree in Welding.

Tom loved music of all kinds and he loved to play his guitar any chance he got. He loved to go fishing. He loved to cook, and boy did he love to eat. He enjoyed doing carpentry, welding, and screen-printing. He enjoyed the time he was able to spend with family, but especially the time he spent with his children.

He is preceded in death by both parents, his sister; Raymunda Brown Flores, and brothers; Arthur and Joe Manzanares, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and friends.

He is survived by his first-born son; Thomas Manzanares Jr., wife; Breanna, children; Raymunda Rose and Arthur Ray Manzanares, sisters; Brenda Barbara (Adolph) Villagomez, Debbie Manzanares, Vickie (Luis) Garcia, and Patsy Guerrero, Godchildren; Demetriuse Trujillo, and Christy Manzanares, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He will be missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at the REC Center in Alamosa, Colorado, on Saturday, June 25,2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
