The science of judging

Science fair judge Scott Miller scores an elementary zoology display at the 68th San Luis Valley Science Fair held at Plachy Hall on Thursday. Roughly 200 judges analyzed more than 300 projects made by elementary, middle school and high school students. There were eleven categories such as physics, engineering and earth science. The two-day fair concludes tonight with an award ceremony at 7 p.m. at Plachy Hall.
