VALLEY — The Conejos Writers Circle is accepting submissions for its seventh annual anthology, The Circle Book, through December 15.

They are looking for written submissions of poetry, short stories, essays, or song lyrics no longer than 1500 words, as well as photographs or other original works of art. The Circle Book aims to publish a wide variety of quality work by writers and artists who are inspired by or live in the San Luis Valley.

The Conejos Writers Circle meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:45 p.m. in the Conejos Nursing Service conference room in La Jara, and they welcome SLV writers of all levels to come and participate.
