Sundays at Six presents SLV Big Band on July 15

ALAMOSA — The Alamosa Live Music Association is pleased to present SLV Big Band at Sundays at Six, July 15, in Cole Park, Alamosa. SLV Big Band is proudly “keeping Jazz alive in Southern Colorado.” Come out and dance with us!

Dedicated to bringing Big Band Jazz to the San Luis Valley and beyond, The SLV Big Band are a non-profit group of community members that donate their time and talent to making the Rockies swing with Jazz again. Members come from all walks of life, including current and retired directors, doctors, lawyers, and more. The San Luis Valley Big Band has been committed to introducing Big Band Jazz into the San Luis Valley and elsewhere, and for 14 years they have been touring Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico providing concerts to those interested in Jazz music. The SLV Big Band supports the San Luis Valley Music Educators Program and encourages those students to make music their career.
