An abandoned trailer house in Sanford burned to the ground early Monday morning. Sanford Fire Chief Mike McCarroll explained that the fire occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. Since the structure was old, firefighters focused their efforts on keeping the fire contained. It is unclear what caused the fire.
