Alamosa resident Stella M. Trujillo, 83, passed away September 4, 2022, at her daughter's home in Idaho. Making her grand entrance into the world on December 12, 1938, the daughter of Tomas Arellano and Francisca (Arellano) Martinez. Stella was an exceptional and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who enjoyed cooking, taking care of her dogs, watching old shows and spending time with her family.

Her memory will live on through her daughters Josie (Francisco) Burrola of Idaho; Sally Miller of Alamosa, Colo.; Margie (Randy) Trujillo-DeHerrera of San Luis, Colo.; 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, sister Lovella Baker, brothers Bernie (Eva) Arellano of Pueblo, Colo.; Leroy Arellano of Denver, Colo. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.

Stella was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albino "Fred" Trujillo, son Ralph Miller, JoJo Arellano, grandchildren Angeleah DeHerrera, Jeremy DeHerrera as well as several brothers and sisters.

A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10 a.m. both at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa.
