Some Folk Fest at the Historic Ute Theatre over Labor Day Weekend

SAGUACHE — Join the fun at the Historic Ute Theatre over Labor Day Weekend for Saguache’s first Some Folk Fest!  The Festival is based in folk music but allows for variations on the theme, bringing out many flavors of what folk music can be - thus, Some Folk Fest.

The festival will feature three evenings of incredible music, featuring Joe Sampson and Ralph White on Friday, Aug. 30; The Turkey Buzzards and Chela Lujan on Saturday, Aug. 31; as well as Bluebook and Jess Parsons on Sunday, Sept. 1.  Music will begin at 7 p.m. each night, and tickets will cost $15 per evening or $30 for all three nights.

The Historic Ute Theatre has reopened with a dynamic mission to Uplift, Transform, and Engage through live performances, independent/foreign films, and special events. The Theatre team is dedicated to preserving the funky historic vibe of the theatre while offering family-friendly, innovative, accessible, and inspiring programming to San Luis Valley residents and visitors alike.
