Country music star Brooke Eden performed at the San Luis Valley Potato Festival’s first annual concert on Saturday, Sept. 9. Randall Rahn opened the performance. Eden performed some of her chart topping hits including “Act Like You Don’t,” “Diamonds” and “Sunday Morning.” She also delighted the audience with covers of well-known songs by artists such as Adele and Elle King. 

A vast array of carnival games were available for the children›s enjoyment during the potato festival in Monte Vista on Saturday. Events included farm tours, mashed potato dunk, chef challenges, truck show, live entertainment and booths.
