SLV GOP Extends Gratitude

Monte Vista- The newly formed San Luis Valley GOP is grateful for all who contributed to produce the  Lincoln Day Dinner 2021, “Stand Up for America.” The dinner serves as the SLV GOP’s main fundraiser for local and state GOP candidates and would not have been possible without the assistance of the following:

First and foremost, the SLV GOP would like to thank all of the speakers who took time out of their busy schedules to share with those in attendance as well as all of those who were a part of the evenings’ program.

A huge thank you goes out to the Valley Church of the Nazarene for the use of its gymnasium. Another hearty thank you goes to RainBrews for hosting an exceptional VIP reception. A gigantic thank you goes to all of the businesses and individuals who donated items for the live and silent auctions.

Gratitude is also extended to the Rio Grande County Color Guard, which includes: Capt. Eugene Farrish, US Army Special Forces; Sgt. 1st Class (R) Joseph “Joe” Baca, US Army 4th Infantry Division; and Command Sgt. Major Larry Heersink (R), US Army for presenting the colors, Corliss T.D. Crabtree for her rich inspiring rendition of the National Anthem, and Pastor Chris Yocum of the Nazarene Church for the opening prayer.

Thank you to the members of “Youth of America,” lead by Parker Ford and Mitchell Plane, for providing excellent help as servers. Thank you to the Sunflour Café for providing a delicious meal.

Last, but not least, the evening would not have been possible without all the generous people who attended. Thank you for supporting the cause of freedom and standing up for America!
