Shawn Nicholas McHugh died unexpectedly March 10, 2021 in his sleep.  He was born and raised in Alamosa. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, his daily trips to the dog park and meeting people.  He was a competitive and gifted athlete. He is survived by his sweet pups Lucy and Scruffy, his mother, relatives, and many close friends. He was known to be a kind, charismatic and giving person. Shawn will remain in our hearts forever.
