It is with great sorrow that siblings Marilyn Brown, David (Morgan) Brown, Debbie Brown,

Louise Benavidez, Michelle Brown-Droese, announce the death of their sister Sarita Margarita Vigil (Villa), aka Sara Vigil of Gilcrest Colorado who tragically passed away November 4th, 2022, at the age of 71.

She will always be remembered and deeply missed by all that knew her. She is preceded in

death by her parents Jennie Trujillo and Joseph Villa, her husband Demecio (Denny) Vigil, her son Marty Vigil, and her brother John Villa. Sara grew up in Fort Garland Colorado where she

graduated from Sierra Grande High School.

Sara was so full of life that listing her age as 71 does not seem appropriate. Sara greatly enjoyed attending family and friend celebrations, loved decorating her home for whichever season or holiday it happened to be. Halloween had her in costume to hand out candy and Sundays were spent in Broncos attire. At Christmas time she and Denny were Mr. and Mrs. Claus. She was not only available throughout all of the fun times, but the sad times, too. She was there to hold a hand or help in any way needed during times of illness and death.

Sara, your physical body is gone forever from our lives, but your spirit & all of the beautiful memories that you are a part of will live on forever.
