Evan Leif Mann is the first baby in the San Luis Valley for 2019. He was born on January 2, 2019 around 10:30 p.m. at San Luis Valley Health in Alamosa. He weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and measured 20 and 3/4 inches long. Evan is the first child of RJ Mann and Kate Berry Mann of Creede. His maternal grandparents are Judy and Gerry Dettloff of Sycamore, Illinois and John and Alice Berry of River Forest Illinois, and paternal grandparents are Sheri and Roger Mann of Creede. His great- grandparents are Barbara and Bob Wiles of Frederick, Colo.
