Daniel was born at 11:35 p.m. on January 1. He weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. Their first child, Daniel is the son of Melvin and Mary Coblentz of rural Monte Vista. Daniel was about a week overdue but just on time to ring in the New Year.
