On November 17, 2021, Our beloved Salamon Enrique Martinez, 21, gained his angel wings, after his battle with COVID 19. Salamon was welcomed into the world on April 18,2000 in La Jara, Colorado, the son of Moses Martinez and Tanya Gallegos Martinez. Salamon graduated from Centauri High School and went on to work for Alcon Construction. He was a jack of all trades, his passion was working on old cars and low riders. Salamon will always be remembered for his heart of gold. He was one of the most kind hearted, selfless and loving person you could meet. A real life teddy bear who was always the first one to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He always put everyone else’s needs before his own. Salamon enjoyed going fishing, cooking, going to race cars and trucks  and car shows. He was a family man, he loved to spend time with his family, girlfriend, nieces, nephews and friends.  Salamon left us far too soon, but the love and memories he left with us we will cherish forever.

He will live on through his parents Moses and Tanya Martinez of Alamosa, CO; girlfriend Bryanna Medina of Alamosa, CO; sisters Jammie (Bobby) Martinez, Hilary (Manuel) Gonzales, Moriah (Wayne) Trujillo, Layla Suazo all of Alamosa, CO; brothers David (Nina) Fisher of Sanford, CO; Julian Martinez of Alamosa, CO; nieces and nephews Amika Martinez, Bobby Martinez, Autumn Gonzales, Marley Gonzales, Shante Gonzales, Rayleana Trujillo; maternal grandparents Ernest and Rose Mesa of Alamosa, CO; parental grandparents Shirley Martinez of Pueblo, CO. He is also survived by numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and friends. 

Salamon was preceded in death by his sister Serena Sena-Martinez, paternal grandfather Jose Martinez, maternal grandfather Max Gallegos, his Aunt Doreen Gallegos and Uncle Gary Mesa.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 1-4 at the Romero Funeral Chapel in Alamosa. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Door Church. Reception to follow at the Elks Lodge. Cremation will follow and inurnment will be held at a later date.
