At the age of 61, Ron, who lived in Monte Vista, Colorado, was diagnosed with ALS and passed away to be with family and loved ones on September 8, 2017.

Ron was born in Monte Vista to Bill B Ruybal and Mabel V Ruybal on June 23, 1956. Ron was the oldest of four children, Diann Martinez, Richard Ruybal (Becky), and Evelyn (Mike) Chacon.

Ron was lucky to have two children, Michael (Susan) Ruybal and Katie Ruybal, 3 grandchildren Rochelle Ruybal, Josiah Sailas and Gabriel Pino; two nieces Amie and Anna (Louie Baca) Martinez and two great nieces whom he loved very much Arianna and Faith Romero.

Ron worked as a Meat Cutter for 42 years, most recently for Safeway Stores, in Alamosa, Colorado.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monte Vista. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monte Vista, Colorado.
