SANFORD — Longtime Sanford resident Ronald Keith Morch, passed away July 6, 2019. He was born Feb. 11, 1942 in Alamosa to Keith and Myrtle Morch. He married Sherri Pritchett Sept. 30, 1967 in Denver.

Ron enjoyed fishing, bow hunting, working on cars and watching NASCAR. He was a member of the Sanford Fire Department and served as fire chief for many years.

He leaves on this earth his loving wife of 51 years Sherri, his three children Linda (Allen) Jones, Michelle Wise and Wayne Morch and the apple of his eye, his grandson Keith Wise, all of Sanford. He was greeted in Heaven by his parents Keith and Myrtle Morch, as well as many family members and friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday July 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Manassa.

A funeral will be held Friday July 12, at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sanford. Interment will follow at the Sanford Cemetery.
