Ronald J. Pearce 81, of Center Colorado passed away peacefully at home on December 21, 2017.  He was born November 11, 1936 in Council Bluffs in Pottawattamie County Iowa to Dale Pearce and Orpha Rose Albright. He enjoyed being outdoors and gambling. Going out to farms and guessing the weight and the numbers of groups of cattle.

He enjoyed his daily routine of going to Gunbarrel Station to meet up with friends and drink coffee. Ronald is survived by his son, Ron Pearce, of Center, CO; daughter Beverly (Mark) Boies of Marriottsville, MD.  Brothers Richard (Carolyn) Pearce of Moses Lake, WA; Russ Pearce of Arizona NM; Robert Pearce of Crawford Co; Sister Susan Ayer Rozman (Ed) of Crawford/Grand Junction Co. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Bub Ayer and one sister, MaryAnn Minerich, and family dog, Stubby. 

A cowboy style graveside service will take place on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Saguache, Colorado.  Family requests in lieu of flowers that donations in his name be made to the Kiwanis of Center Scholarship fund. Club ID: K01929 5th & Broadway, Center, CO, 81125
