‘Romantic Fools’ play set August 24-25 in Alamosa at Adams State University

ALAMOSA — The San Luis Valley Theatre Company presents “Romantic Fools” by Rich Orloff at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, August 24 and 25 in the Carson Auditorium at Adams State. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

This is a comedy for mature audiences, produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc. Romantic Fools consists of 12 two-character comedies examining love, lust, dating, and romance -- from a date with a caveman to the joys of dull sex to the surprise frustrations of having a perfect mate. With influences of Monty Python, Saturday Night Live, Jules Feiffer, the Marx Brothers, and classic vaudeville comedy, these sketches vary in style but all celebrate the inherent comedy of male-female relationships.

Tickets are $10 and may be reserved by calling 719-859-2949 or online at www.slvtheatrecompany.weebly.com
