Robert Joe Espinoza

ALAMOSA — Robert Joe Espinoza gained his angel wings on September 25, 2020. He is now with his savior Jesus Christ. Robert was born in Alamosa, Colorado to Albert and Barbara Espinoza on December 23, 1965.

Robert is survived by his children Hannah Espinoza and Jeremy Espinoza (Brianna Ramirez) his grandchildren Giovanni Espinoza, Ian Espinoza and Jayla Espinoza, the mother of his children Gloria Medina, his mother Barbara Espinoza, siblings Janet (John) Rael, Angela Madrid, Leroy Espinoza, Theresa

(Wayne) Santistevan, Chris (Gaylene) Espinoza. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He is also survived by his fur baby Malachai.

Robert was the strongest person you could ever meet. He was passionate about music and could play any instrument that he laid his hands on. He was the most amazing grandpa. He was his grandchildren’s hero. His grandkids were his world and he made it known by how much he spoiled them with love, laughs and encouragement. He could fix anything and was a problem solver. Robert cooked the most appetizing food with love. He enjoyed every second he spent with his family, as he was super hilarious with his funny impressions and silly faces. He always cheered for his Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets. Most of all he was a prayer warrior. He prayed for anyone who needed it or asked for it. His love for God was obvious. He taught others about Jesus because he wanted everyone to make it into heaven.

Robert was preceded in death by his father Albert, his grandparents Adolph and Eufelia Espinoza, Frank and Sophie Medina and his special auntie Priscilla Medina.

For those who love and know Jesus Christ, this is not goodbye, it sees you later.  As Robert would say,  “Later Gator.”
