Robert “Bob” McKibben

Robert “Bob” McKibben, age 64, of Daniels, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Born on February 23, 1958, in Monte Vista, Colorado, he was the son of Jeannie McKibben Warmack and the late Jack McKibben. He graduated from Centauri High School and attended Western Montana College and St. Marys of the Plains College.

Bob, as he was known by family and friends, was a retired SWAT Commander with the Fort Collins Police Department in Fort Collins, CO. After retirement, he worked as a government contractor overseeing security forces involving national security sites. He also served as a cowboy minister for many years. Bob enjoyed horses, was a certified farrier and enjoyed hunting, range shooting and blacksmithing. During his entire life, Bob participated in rodeos and roping. He was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Police, the National Rifle Association and the Emerald Society of Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack McKibben, his stepfather, Jim Warmack, his stepbrother, Bob Warmack and his beloved dogs Johnny and Jake.

In addition to his mother, Jeannie Warmack, survivors include his wife, Machelle and his children; Nikki, JoJo, Jordan, Coby Henslee, Brandon Henslee, and Ryan Henslee. Three brothers also survive; Mike, Tom and Tim, and stepbrother Dan Warmack and stepsister Jolynn Stewart. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Irish Rover at 54 S. Broadway in Denver on May 6, between 4 p.m and 8 p.m.
