As part of the Rio Grande Stream Management Plan (SMP), the Rio Grande Headwaters wants to hear the thoughts, concerns, values and hopes for the future of the Rio Grande River.

The input will help guide and inform the SMP process. Two more community meetings have been scheduled for the public to give feedback: Rio Grande #1 on Monday, June 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rio Grande Water Conservation District at 8805 Independence Way in Alamosa; and Rio Grande #2 on Tuesday, June 18 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the South Fork Community Center, 254 State Hwy 149 in South Fork.
