Ricky L. Manzanares “Califas,” 52, died March 17th, 2018 in Monte Vista, CO. Ricky was born in Ogden, Utah, April 1st, 1965. He is survived by his daughter Angelina Maria Manzanares (Grand Junction), son Ricky Ramos (Orange CA), 3 grandchildren (Orange County CA), his brothers Joseph (Kathy) Manzanares of Alamosa, CO, Roger Manzanares of Monte Vista, CO, Chris Manzanares (deceased), Mike (Gloria) Archuleta of California, Albert (Bertha) of California, sisters Diane Manzanares Guzman of Texas, Alberta Manzanares of Albuquerque, NM (deceased), Martha Ramirez of Guadalupe, CA (deceased), his father Joseph P. Manzanares (deceased), mother Bertha Garcia (deceased), raised by Angie & Andy Ramos of Guadalupe CA (deceased).

Ricky loved listening to oldies, going fishing and playing bingo. He was a big jokster, had a heart of gold and his faith in God was never ending. He will forever remain in our hearts and forever be missed.

Rosary will be held on Wednesday, March 21, at 6:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa. Mass will be on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa.
