Richmond will join ASU Jazz Ensemble for benefit concert

ALAMOSA – The Adams State University Department of Music presents an evening of jazz and popular music, featuring Don Richmond, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, in Richardson Auditorium.

The Adams State Jazz Ensemble will perform alongside Richmond, featuring his music for a one-night only special event to raise funds for the Don Richmond Music Scholarship. The concert will also feature the a cappella group, 68 West, jazz standards, popular music, and much more.

The program will include works by Don Richmond, Beyonce, Louis Prima, Stevie Wonder, John Coltrane, and more.

The concert is $5 for students, $10 for adult. Additional Donations to the Scholarship are welcome. All proceeds benefit the Don Richmond Music Scholarship.
