Dickie Gallegos, age 62, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 in Denver, Colorado surrounded by loving family members.  He was a beloved brother and uncle.

Dickie was born on November 11, 1955 to Nellie and Paul Gallegos.  He resided in the San Luis Valley in his early years and later lived the remainder of his life in Denver, Colorado. 

He loved the simple pleasures life had to offer and enjoyed sitting on the deck of his home taking in nature and the comings and goings of those around him.  He will be remembered for his love of being tickled, his love of music, and his love of food.

Dickie is survived by siblings Bobby (Pearl) Gallegos, Andrew (Rebecca) Gallegos, Cecilia Ortiz, Evelyn (Eddie) Cisneros, Katherine Lopez, Louis (MaryAnn Gallegos), Roberta (James) Chavez and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, Nellie and Paul Gallegos; maternal grand-parents Daniel and Beatrice Marquez; paternal grand-parents Delfino and Deliria Gallegos; brother Lloyd Gallegos, and niece Melissa Gallegos.

Services to honor Dickie, his life, and the beautiful spirit he was will take place as follows:

A recitation of the Rosary will take place on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Conejos, Colorado. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Conejos, Colorado.
