ALAMOSA — “Praying God’s Promises” will be the theme of the 32nd Annual Southern Colorado Women’s Conference.

Linda Evans Shepherd, renowned speaker and author from Longmont, Colo. will return as this years’ guest speaker. The conference is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 4 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Calvary Bible Chapel, 7160 Brush Lane, Alamosa. The cost is $15 for the Friday evening session and $50 for the entire conference. Childcare will also be available at Alamosa Christian Church 410 McQueery, in East Alamosa.

Embracing a heart to seek more of God, “The Prayer Lady,” Linda Evans Shepherd, is an award-winning author who has written numerous book including the bestselling When You Don’t Know What to Pray and her latest, Praying God’s Promises and When You Need to Move a Mountain.
