LA JARA — On Monday, June 19, at 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Family History Center at 117 7th Street, La Jara will be having an event to remember dad. Bring a favorite memory of dad or grandpa along with a picture of him to share on FamilySearch. Write a short story or memory to go with the picture of him working (occupation or working on something), hunting, fishing, playing ball, or any other hobby.  Let’s honor our fathers and grandfathers by keeping their memories alive for future family members to see. Bring Smartphone or iPad, or tablet with WiFi if you want (not required.)  This event is open to everyone regardless of genealogy experience. There will be staff members there to help you every step of the way. What a great way to honor and remember our loved ones and to share those memories with future generations!
